it sent. This video "Flood With SpiralTrac.wmv" shows a seal
cavity with a SpiralTrac Version N Type I installed in the place of the
throat. During flooding of the pump the air is vented from the seal
cavity which helps promote even cooling of the seal faces and also helps
prolong the life of the seal.
This video "Particulate With
SpiralTrac.wmv" shows a cavity with the SpiralTrac Version N Type I in
place of the standard throat and how well the SpiralTrac removes the
particulate from the seal cavity. This video "Flood With SpiralTrac.wmv" shows a seal

affect the life of the seal faces and can cause premature seal

how the particulate is not able to escape from the cavity will build up
behind the throat, eventually causing wear to the seal faces and
eventual seal failure.
"Particulate Open Bore Horizontal .wmv" This
video shows an open bore seal cavity and how the particulate rather than
escaping the cavity when the pump is running, migrates towards the seal
at the bottom of the cavity.
This video shows a vertical seal cavity with a
SpiralTrac Version N Type I installed in the place of the throat. This
video shows how the SpiralTrac removes the particulate in a vertical
application.
This video shows a
vertical open bore seal cavity and how the particulate is forced up into
the seal cavity when the pump starts and runs. This video shows a vertical cavity
flooded with the air trapped at the top of the cavity. This can also
cause problems with uneven cooling of the seal faces which can result in
premature seal failure. This video shows a vertical
seal cavity with the standard throat in place and how the
